Jack R. Taylor, D.C., RCRD, Director of Rehabilitation

Dr. Taylor is the Director of Rehabilitation for the two Pittsburgh based Healthworx Medical and Chiropractic Rehabilitation Clinics. He has been a practicing physician for 21 years.

Dr. Taylor is board certified in rehabilitation and video-fluoroscopy. He is a panel physician for many companies including General Industries, RNP Consolidated Coal Company and Chemply, Inc.

Dr. Taylor has staff privileges at Pittsburgh Specialty Hospital and has completed his certification for Manipulation Under Anesthesia.

Daniel A. Dziak, B.S., D.C. Staff Chiropractor

Dr. Dziak is a life long resident of Monessen, PA. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Penn State University in 1989. Dr. Dziak was them employed at the Transplant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as Research Associate. There he managed and participated in a number of research projects, including a high profile study on the experimental immunosuppression drug FK-506.

It was during this time that Dr. Dziak recognized his desire to become a chiropractor. He was driven to study chiropractic as he believed in the philosophy of treating the origin of disorder not the symptoms. Dr. Dziak received his Doctorate at Palmer Chiropractic College in 1997 and has been with Healthworx ever since.

Dr. Dziak volunteers for the Special Olympics of Allegheny County, and looks forward to many years of serving members of his community by fostering good health through Chiropractic.

Dr. McCormick

Dr. McCormick has been in practice as a Chiropractic Physician for over seventeen years. He completed his undergraduate training at East Stoudsburg University in Stoudsburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. McCormick received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1976. After a number of years in practice, he decided to specialize in Chiropractic Orthopedics and subsequently completed five years at post graduate studies in orthopedics in 1989.

Dr. McCormick is board eligible in orthopedics by the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedics. He was assistant regional director of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Federation. He was a member of the International Chiropractic Association, Pennsylvania Chiropractic society and Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. McCormick is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Florida.

Dr. Green

Dr. Greene completed his Pre Med studies at the University of Buffalo where he was graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to attend Stoney Brook Medical School in New York and received his M.D. degree in 1980. He continued his medical training as an anesthesiology resident at the University of Pittsburgh and subsequently pursued a fellowship subspecialty in Pain Management at West Penn Hospital. He has over fifteen years experience as an anesthesiologist and a pain management physician, working in the Pittsburgh area.

During his practice he began to notice that the medical model is able to treat pain symptoms but is not sufficient to restore patients back to their normal physical functioning. He is excited to be working in a center where the medical, chiropractic and physical therapy modalities act together to maximize patient outcome.

Tammy Fagnelli, M.S.

Tammy is the Exercise Physiologist at Healthworx's Pittsburgh office. Tammy obtained her Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987 and has worked at Harmarville Rehabilitation Center for 8 years before joining the Healthworx team. Tammy has taken numerous continuous education courses in rehabilitation of work related injuries and chronic pain management.

Ken Ealy, C.A., M.A., ACRRT

Ken has an Associate Degree in Clinic Administration and is a registered radiologist, chiropractic x-ray certified for the state of PA. Ken belongs to the American Chiropractic Registered Radiologists.

Laura M. Benning

Laura graduated from California University with a dual major. a B.S. in Athletic Training and a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. She worked five years at Mercy Hospital in the critical car units: Intensive care, Coronary Care, Burn Unit, and Cardiovascular Intensive Care. Also, she worked with oncology, orthopedic and cardiac rehabilitation patients. Furthermore, she also managed the Charleroi Spinal Rehabilitation Clinic directing day to day operations.

Laura had five years experience working at the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society managing home health care for a caseload of seventy patients covering five counties. Laura continues to see twenty of these patients on a private contract basis. She works closely with both the patient and their families on rehabilitation programs and on educating family members on multiple sclerosis, the use of special equipment, and providing information on referral agencies and services.
